World Bunts’ Foundation Trust felicitates Shashi Kiran Shetty, six others

Mangaluru, Oct 09, 2022: World Bunts’ Foundation Trust honoured eminent entrepreneur Shashi Kiran Shetty at the AGM program held at AJ Grand Hotel on Bunts Hostel Road, Mangaluru on Saturday October 8, 2022. It was also an occasion to hand over keys of 17 houses to the beneficiaries under the CSR activities of Shashi Kiran Shetty.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

CA Shantharam Shetty, chairman, Indian Red Cross Society, CA Mandara P Shetty, K Prithvi Raj Shetty president of Mangalore Bar Association, P B Harish Rai, Journalist and CA Darshan Shetty who cleared CA final exam in the first attempt were also felicitated on the occasion.

Dr D K Chowta Endowment Award was presented to K Raghurama Shetty,Yakshagana exponent. Endowment scholarship was also distributed to the deserving students. Eminent Bunt Personality Award was conferred on Shashi Kiran Shetty, Chairman of Allcargo group, Mumbai.

“I am humbled by the felicitation and honour extended by World Bunts’ Foundation Trust” said Shashi Kiran Shetty on his acceptance speech. There are many CSR activities undertaken by him every year and building houses for the deserving people is another way his concern for the people. “I have great satisfaction in handing over keys of the houses to 17 beneficiaries today said Mr. Shetty.

The Trust Patron Dr B R Shetty, Past chairman Dr M Shantharam Shetty also spoke on the occasion. Vice-chairman Kushal S Hegde, Dr B Sanjeev Rai, vice-chairman, L Sacchidananda Hegde, treasurer, CA P Raghavendra Shetty, project director and Reetha Shetty, New Delhi were present.

Present Chairman of World Bunts’ Foundation Trust Dr A J Shetty welcomed the gathering. Secretary CA Sudhir Kumar Shetty proposed the vote of thanks and Manohar Prasad compered the event.

Prior to the awards and felicitation ceremony, the 26th annual general body meeting of the World Bunts’ Foundation Trust for the year 2021-22 was held.
The World Bunts’ Foundation Trust, which was established in 1995, has been extending support to numerous beneficiaries in the field of education, health, sports, arts, culture, and improving standards of nutrition and sanitation.

More than 6,000 students have derived benefits from the foundation over the years. The foundation has more than 700 members spread across the globe. The contributions made by the members and various endowments instituted by the donors are the major source of revenue to support the activities of the foundation.
