World Diabetes Day Celebrated at K S Hegde Hospital

Mangalore, Nov 11: K S Hegde Hospital in Deralakatte, Mangalore, will organize Doctors’ Meet 2009 for general practitioners and physician in the seminar hall on its second floor as part of its World Diabetes Day celebrations.

K Subramanyan, the chief cardiologist, will speak on the topic “Diabetes and Heart Disease”; and Dr. Srikrishna V Acharya, chief endocrinologist, will speak on the topic “Newer Treatment Modalities in Diabetes Mellitus” during the Doctors’ Meet.

The hospital is also offering a diabetic screening package for Rs 350/- only. This package includes FBS, PPBS, ECG, Lipid profile, Creatinine, and complete Haemogram, along with consultation with an ophthalmologist, endocrinologist, and cardiologist if necessary.
