Yakshagana Bhagavath Subramanya Acharya ends life

Mangaluru, Jan 07, 2020: In a tragic incident, Yakshagana Bhagavath Subramanya Acharya committed suicide by consuming poison at his friend’s residence in  Kulshekhar on January 07, Tuesday.

Subramanya Acharya was the chief Bhagavath of Mandarthi Durgaparameshwari Yakshagana mela. He was basically from Shimoga but was residing at a rented house in Santekatte, Udupi.

The reason for the extreme step is yet to ascertain. He is survived by wife and two children.

Kadri police have registered the case.
