Mangaluru, June 25, 2024: An average of 34.2 mm of rain was recorded in Dakshina Kannada district on Tuesday, and heavy rain is expected on Wednesday. Consequently, the weather department has issued an alert.

On Tuesday, there was heavy rain in and around the city during the morning and evening. The sun was visible in the afternoon.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a forecast of thunderstorms with rain in the district over the next 48 hours.
