Young woman dies in scooter-lorry collision on Kulur bridge

Mangaluru, September 18, 2024: A young woman who was pillion riding a scooter has lost her life after a container lorry rammed into the two-wheeler near Kulur on Tuesday evening.

The deceased is Lavanya (27). Her husband Shakeel Suvarna was riding the bike. The couple were on way to Kavoor from Panambur when the mishap took place on Kulur bridge.

Both the riders fell off the scooter due to the impact of the collision. Lavanya died on the spot due to severe head injuries after the lorry ran over her.
