Youth gets 6 years jail for sexually harassing minor girl

Mangaluru, Nov 29, 2023: The Additional District and Sessions Court of Mangaluru has sentenced a man to six years imprisonment in a case of sexually harassing a minor girl.

 

The convict is Vijay Praveen Cutinha (29). He was arrested in connection with the case of harassing the girl who had been to a shop  at Amblamogaru in Konaje police station limits on April 20, 2022.

The court has also slapped a penalty of Rs 20,000 on him and he will have to undergo an additional six months of simple imprisonment if he fails to pay the penalty amount.
