Youth hacked to death allegedly by friends near Talapady

Bantwal, July 05, 2022: A youth was hacked to death allegedly by his own friends at Talapady Kaikamba late night on July 4, Monday.

The deceased is Mohammad Ashif (29) of Shanti Angadi. It has been alleged that he was killed  by his friend Naufal, Mohammad Nasuir and another person.

 

It is said both the victim and the accused were ganja addicts and had reportedly quarreled over the issue of ganja at around 1 am, eventually culminating in the murder of one of them.

Local police have registered a case and are conducting investigations.
