Yuva Morcha plans Rasta Roko demanding filing of case against MLC Ivan D’Souza

Mangaluru, August 24, 2024: District BJP Yuva Morcha President Nandan Mallya has said the Yuva Morcha will hold a Rasta Roko agitation across the district on August 28 to condemn the failure of the  police to file a case against MLC Ivan D’Souza over his recent remarks against the Governor in connection with the permission granted to prosecute CM Siddaramaiah in the MUDA case.

Speaking to reporters at the party office on Saturday, Nandan Mallya said the Yuva Morcha will not relent until a case was filed against Ivan. He said Ivan has made an anti-national statement and added that theparty was also contemplating a legal fight against him.

On the stone pelting incident on the residence of Ivan, the Yuva Morcha leader alleged that the MLC was pointing fingers towards the BJP after making his own supporters pelt stones at his house.
