Udupi, August 12, 2018: As many as eight fishermen were rescued after  the boat ’Padmadas’ in which they had ventured into  fishing  capsized  while returning towards Malpe on August 12, Sunday.

Fishermen from other boats helped in rescuing the fishermen and bringing them ashore.

Earlier, on Saturday, eight fishermen were rescued when  their boat ’Shivaganesh’  capsized due to the turbulent sea. Both the boats capsized in between Bhatkal-Gangolli.
