‘Loplolim Taram’ thrills Brahmavarites on Easter Sunday

Udupi, March 2, 2013 :  ‘Loplolim Taram’ organised at the  Holy Family Church Grounds at Brahmavar on Easter  gave a golden opportunity to promote hidden talents of  youngsters who were  trained to give a stunning performance. The credit of organizing the event goes to Seva –Spirit, the premier forum that has been working towards bringing Brahmaravites together through various  activities.

 Daniel  Monteiro who holds the Guinness Book of World Records for his collection of stamps, was conferred the Seva Personality of the Year Award. He was felicitated with a shawl, garland, trophy, and a citation. Ravi Prakash Gonsalves, Seva member, read out the citation leader.

Sunitha Lobo, a differently abled girl who was a member of the Indian floor hockey team which won the gold at the Special Olympics Winter Games held at South Korea was also honoured.

Fr Anthony Vas, Parish Priest of Holy Family Church Brahmavar was the chief guest of the occasion. Music and dance programmes provided wholesome entertainment to the gathered crowd.
