’Janaver’ and ’Saithan’ Tulu videos release on October 16

Mangaluru, Oct 13,2016: Briefing media, Director Geethesh Madoor said that for the first time in Tulu film industry, a music video and Tulu short film will be presented in one CD. ’Janaver,’ a Tulu music video and ’Saithan,’ a Tulu short film will be released at Ravindra Kala Bhavan in University College at 4 pm on October 16.

 The Tulu video has three songs and has brought all Tulu film industry actors under one platform. The video aims at creating awareness on sexual minorities and honouring them. "Normally members of sexual minority groups are most neglected in the society. The video strives to create an awareness on them, thereby allowing them to lead a dignified life," he added.

Actors Arjun Kapikad, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Manoj, Sunil Nelligudde, Ranjan Boloor, V J Deekshith, Sanam Ameen have acted in the video. The video is produced by Joshua Crasta. Saithan, is a horror short film.

’Hombanna’ coming : ’Hombanna,’ a Kannada movie based on the theme of encroachment of forest in Malnad will hit screens shortly.  Director Rakshith Theerthahalli said the movie highlights the culture and tradition of Malnad, Dakshina Kannada and Mangaluru. The row over encroachment of forest land by the poor has been the focus of the movie. The stars are Succhindra Prasad, Dattatreya , Varsha Acharya, Pavithra and Jagadeesh.
