’Wildlife week’ to be marked by many competitions

Mangaluru, Sep 26, 2015 ;  Pilikula Biological Park at Dr. Shivaram Karanth Pilikula Nisargadhama has organised various competitions on the theme ‘nature and wildlife’ on the occasion of wildlife week, 2015 celebration.

 Wildlife photography competition will be held on October 4. Photographs of size not less than 12” by 18” may  be sent on or before October 2. An essay competition will be conducted for lower primary, higher primary, high school and college students. Essay in English or in Kannada not exceeding 1,500 words has to be submitted on or before October 1.

A Collage competition will be conducted for lower primary, higher primary, high school and college students. Participants may send them on or before October 2 on a drawing sheet.

Drawing, fancy dress and quiz competition for lower primary, higher primary, high school and college students will be conducted on October 4.

Mobile camera short film competition not exceeding 5 minutes for high school and college students will be conducted. Dog, cat and cock show will be organised on October 4 at Pilikula.

Participants have to register their names on or before October 1.
