Mangalore, March 31, 2014(DHNS): Zilla Panchayath CEO Tulasi Maddineni has said that around 1600 students are likely to attend the interactive programme with former President of India APJ Abdul Kalam, at TMA Pai Convention Centre in Mangalore o April 1 at 4.30 pm.

Addressing a press meet here on Sunday, she said that former president will interact with students for about 50 minutes. The total seating capacity of the hall is 1760. The students will have to give their names at the entrance for raising a question. The questions should not be targeted at a political party or individual. The questions may be related to electoral process, ethical voting, role of youth, development issues, democracy and so on.

The students have to produce ID cards issued from the college at the venue to enter the hall. As there will be frisking, students are requested to be at the venue by 3.45 pm, she added.
