2 young women sustain injuries in road mishap at Adyar

Mangalore, Mar 10, 2013: Two young women who were driving a car  sustained minor injuries after their Maruti Ritz car was involved in an accident at Adyar on March  9, Saturday.

The mishap took place when the woman who was driving the car tried to overtake another vehicle and eventually lost control. The car then hit the divider and  went over to the other side of the road and collided against a tipper heading  towards  Farangipete. The girls were on way to the city when the mishap took place. They have been identified as Kripa and Sonika and have been admitted  to hospital.

The  car was badly mauled while the diesel tanker of the tipper too was damaged.
