3 from Kundapur killed in gory mishap at Murdeshwar

 Bhatkal, Jan14,2013:  Three persons from Kundapur lost their lives in a tragic road accident  reported from Bengare in Murdeshwar on January 13, Sunday. The accident occurred when the  speeding car in which they were travelled rammed  into a tree while trying to overtake another vehicle at around 2 pm on Sunday.


The deceased are  Santosh Shetty(45), his wife Shakeela(35) and the car driver Keerthi Shetty (42). All of them were from Gulvadi in Kundapur and were killed on the spot.


The accident took place when Santosh Shetty who runs a hotel at Sangli was on way to his hometown Kundapur for a Yakshagana programme along with his brother and his wife, who were in another car.
Murdeshwar police have registered a case.
