3 injured when car dashes into tree and turns over

Puttur, June 1, 2012 : Sundar Bhat, subdivisional revenue assistant commissioner for Puttur, his wife Ratna, and their relative Govinda Bhat sustained injuries when their Maruti Alto car dashed into a tree and turned upside down on the afternoon of May 31, Thursday.

Mr. Bhat was driving along the Vittala to Kabaka road in Urimajalu, Idkidu. They were going home to Kedila from Vittala. The car hit the tree, rolled over twice or thrice, and came to rest in an upside down position.

All three are now recovering in a private hospital in Mangalore.
