321 candidates shortlisted for vacant village accountant posts

Mangalore, Dec 2: The revenue department has shortlisted 321 candidates for 107 vacant posts of village accountants in bhoomi centers in taluk offices and in taluks via direct recruitment, according to a press release issued by DC V Ponnuraj who also leads the village accountants direct recruitment authority.

Any objections to the list of 321 candidates shortlisted so far should be submitted to the DC’s office before Dec 14. The names of the shortlisted candidates have been displayed in all taluk offices as well as the DC’s office. Alternatively, the list can be accessed online at www.dk.nic.in or www.recruitment.kar.nic.in/dk-va.

The shortlisting has been done on the basis of merit alone, as per the roster system of the government. The final list will be released on December 19 after verifying the applicants’ original documents.
