4 injured in car-tempo collision near Karnad

Mulki, May 3, 2014: Two persons including a 13 year old boy sustained serious injuries  in a collision between a car and a tempo  near Karnad bye pass on the NH 66 on May 3, Saturday. Two other passengers in the car sustained minor injuries in the mishap.

The injured are Mohammad Rizwan (13),  Asif Mohammad, the car driver, Naseema and Hayavadana Bhat (54), the tempo driver. The car was proceeding towards Mangalore from Udupi, while the tempo laden with grocery items was proceeding towards Mulki when the mishap took place.

Both the vehicles were badly mangled in the mishap. Mulki police have registered a case. The accident also disrupted traffic on the route for some time.
