Academy of General Education - 4 persons to be awarded

Manipal, Jan 08, 2016: A media release on Jan7, Thursday said that the annual New Year award function to honour four eminent persons from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts will be held here at 5.30 p.m. on January 9. Saturday.

The function has been organised by the Academy of General Education, Manipal University and SyndicateBank.

The persons to be honoured with the award are H. Sudarshan Ballal, chairman, Manipal Hospitals, Bengaluru; Allen C.A. Pereira, former chairman and managing director of Bank of Maharashtra; M. Prabhakar Joshy, researcher, author and critic; and G. Shankar, philanthropist and social worker.
