Accident causes traffic jam on NH 66 near Netravathi bridge

Mangalore, Oct 30, 2013 : Traffic  on the Netravathi Bridge on National Highway 66 was obstructed for over three hours on October 30, Wednesday morning following an accident involving a  bus and a lorry on the bridge.

The mishap occurred at around 7 am resulting in a traffic snarl. Serpentine queue of vehicles was seen on either side. As it was peak hour, several students and office goers were hit hard.

The Mangalore Rural Police as well as the Ullal police had a tough time in regulating traffic.
