Advocate Stany D’Costa’s 4th law book released

Mangalore, Nov 8, 2012 : Fr. Anthony Serrao, parish priest of Bendore, released Kanoon Jnanakosha, a law book in Konkani by advocate Stany R. D’Costa, on Nov 8, Thursday at Press Club.

Senior writer Edwin J. F. D’Souza was present.

Advocate D’Costa said that he wrote this book to enhance legal awareness among Konkani-speaking people, adding that he has already written 3 law books. The book comprises 121 law topics, including fundamental rights, responsibilities, personal freedom, court of jurisdiction, governor, Supreme Court, president, and others.

Addressing the gathering, Fr. Serrao lauded the writer, adding that his books will help common people understand law. He also suggested that the book must be translated into English and Kannada so that it reaches different sections of society.
