Alike Ramayya Rai Memorial Trust established

Mangalore, Dec 17: Alike Ramayya Rai Memorial Trust will be inaugurated at Madiyala Sri Gopalakrishna Temple of Alike on Dec 20, Sunday.

This trust is established in honor of the renowned Tenkutittu Yakshagana artist Alike Ramayya Rai for the benefit of Yakshagana artistes. 

A press conference was organized on Dec 17, Wednesday, to provide information on the same. Bhaskar Rai Kukkuvali, the member of Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy, said that he will deliver the commemoration speech, while Kumble Sundar Rao, the president of the Karnataka Yakshagana Academy, will inaugurate the trust.

U Ganghadhar Bhat, the president of Alike Sri Satya Sai Loka Seva Trust, will preside over the function. Prominent Yakshagana artistes Dr. M Prabhakar Joshi, Karaya Sanjeeva Shetty, and Kolyaru Ramachandra Rao will be the chief guests.
