Anil Das, BJP treasurer of backward classes morcha, expelled

Mangalore, May 25, 2014: Satish Prabhu,  BJP’s district spokesperson informed the media,  Anil Das, district treasurer of backward classes morcha of the BJP, has been expelled from the party membership and posts for a period of six years.

The reason given is a series of ’undesirable goings on’ during the recent Lok Sabha elections. The action has been taken by district president Pratap Simha Nayak on recommendation from the constituency-level committee.

It may be recalled that Shrikar Prabhu, erstwhile president of Mangalore south unit of the party, and advocate P P Hegde, holding a national level posts were also recently relieved of their responsibilities on similar grounds.
