Application invait for Dr Nitte Shankara Adyanthaya Memorial Best School Award – 2018

Mangaluru, Dec 12, 2018: With the objective of recognizing the good work done by rural schools in all spheres of education resulting in excellence, NITTE (Deemed to be University) and Nitte Education Trust seek applications for the Dr. NSAM Best School Award – 2018 from eligible schools.

The awards will be given to two rural Kannada medium high schools of  Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kasargod Districts.

The selection will be based on achievements in SSLC Board Examinations, sports, cultural activities, infrastructure and innovative practices. The first prize will be Rs.15 lakh with a plaque and second prize will be Rs.10 lakh with a plaque. The selection committee would be headed by Justice N. Santhosh Hegde, former Lokayukta of Karnataka.
