Mangalore, June 18, 2014: According to the Uppinangady police, they have arrested  three persons,  Santhosh Kumar (34), a resident of Kanathila in Kasargod, B Basheer (26) of Vittlapadnoor and Mohammed Asif (24), a resident of Kotemane.

The police have seized explosives from them while they were illegally transporting them in a car on June 17, The goods consists of 1,500 gelatin sticks, and 1,400 gel tubes. The value of the seized explosives is Rs 60,000. The accused were transporting explosives illegally to a quarry in Mangalpady in Kasargod from Goroor in Hassan.
