Bantwal, May 30, 2014: The Bantwal Police rushed to a spot near Mittabailu Masjid, BC Road on  May 29. and ensured matters were cared for when a speeding KSRTC bus, out of control  knocked down a parked autorickshaw nearly crushing it near BC Road on May 29.

All around heaved a sigh of relief that there were no casualties, the three wheeler was not engaged and driver Mohammad Ashraf too was not near it at the time.

Crowds thronged when a KSRTC bus bound to Puttur from BC Road is said to have met with an mishap. The bus driver is blamed for the accident, and said to be speeding when it got out of control veered to the side of the road and crushed  the auto.
