Awareness on rights of prisoners - programme on August 13

Mangalore, Aug 12, 2014: District Legal Services Authority, Mangalore Bar Association and District Prison will organise legal awareness programme for prisoners regarding plea bargaining and rights of prisoners, at district prison in Kodialbail on August 13 at 2 pm.

Senior Civil Judge and Member Secretary of District Legal Services Authority Ganesha B will inaugurate the programme. District Prison Superintendent Ramesh P S will preside over the programme. Judicial Magistrate First Class (III court) Undi Majula Shivappa will deliver a talk on ‘plea bargaining’ and Advocate Mohan Raj K R will speak on right of prisoners. Bar Association President P Ashok Ariga will be the chief guest.
