BJP’s complint to Chief Election Officer

Mangalore Today News Network

Mangalore, June  17, 2014:  The State unit of the BJP on Monday filed a complaint with the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Anil Kumar Jha alleging that the JD(S) candidate for the Bangalore teachers constituency, Puttanna, was issuing identity cards to teachers. In a complaint to Jha, State secretary Keshava Prasad said that the issue of such ID cards amounted to electoral malpractice and would result in voting by ineligible voters on polling day (June 20).
