Mangalore, May 20: Shri Baba Ramdev, who is currently leading a movement to prove the ability of Ayurveda and Yoga to cure almost any ailment in the world, will visit Mangalore on May 27 to preside over a unique programme called “Gurudarshana” at Dr. TMA Pai International Convention Centre in Mangalore from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Honorary President of the District Patanjali Yoga Samiti Padmaprasad Hegde informed journalists at a press conference held on May 18, Tuesday that the Yoga Guru will be in Mangalore for the first time and will deliver courses on the Bharat Swabhiman organization, Yoga, Ayurveda, and other related subjects. 

Speaking about Bharat Swabhiman, Hegde said that Guruji Ramdev has established Bharat Swabhiman to create an ailment-free society and to enhance patriotism. Free Yoga camps conducted by the Guruji under the motto “free health for all” are curing people from diseases such as cancer. Regular practice of Pranayama will help people get rid of disorders such as blood pressure, asthma, diabetes, and so on, a fact that has been proved beyond doubt, he explained. 

A consultative meeting will be held at 4 p.m. on May 20 in the premises of Patanjali Clinic near Baliga Stores, Bejai, in order to make preparations for Guruji’s visit. He said that those interested can contact 9845070102 and 0824-2211040 for additional information. 

Dr. Jnaneshwar Nayak, Sujata Marla, Jagadish Shetty, Keshav Marla, and Sachin Hegde, the office bearers of the Patanjali Yoga Samiti were also present for the press conference.
