Mangalore, October 29, 2012: T. Mohammed, Beary writer and activist, died at the age of 83 in a private hospital. He had been ill for a long time.

The deceased writer has left behind his wife, several friends, and relatives.

T. Mohammed wrote the book “Beary Chelt,” which was published by the Karnataka Beary Sahitya Academy.  

Since he hailed from Suratkal, he was the president of the Chokkabettu Jumma Masjid for several years.

He practiced commercial tax in Mangalore for the past 40 years.
