Puttur, 14,2015:  St Philomena College, Puttur, Department of Hindi, in association with Corporation Bank will organize UGC sponsored national seminar on ’Social Values in Bhishma Sahani’s Writings’ on September 15 at the college auditorium. M B Ganesh, deputy general manager, Corporation Bank, zonal office will inaugurate the seminar. Jayanthi Prasad Noutiyal, DGM, Corporation Bank, head office will deliver the keynote address. Fr Alfred J Pinto, college correspondent will preside. Rev Antony Prakash Monteiro, college campus director will be the chief guest.

Technical sessions will have resource persons in  Sunitha Manjanbail, head, department of Hindi, Gulbarga University, Dr Pramod Kupravat, head, department of Hindi, Calicut University and Sham Kishor Pande, former DGM, Syndicate Bank. The valedictory function will have, P L Saroj, the director, Directorate of Cashew Research will be the chief guest. Jayanthi Prasad Noutiyal will deliver valedictory address. Leo Noronha, principal will preside.
