Bishop inaugurates ’Studio’ at CODP

Mangalore, Aug 17, 2014 :  In his inaugural address,  Mangalore Diocese Bishop Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D Souza inaugurated the studio of Canara Communications Centre at CODP building here.

 He stressed the need of communication to reach out to people and to communicate the message of Christ. Stressing the need to produce different programmes for different categories of people, ie, children, students, youth and adults, the Bishop  called upon the priests to produce more and more value based programmes.

 Pastoral Institute Director Rev Dr Victor Machado, Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy President Roy Castelino, Sandesha Director Rev Fr Victor Vijay Lobo, Bondel ChurchParish Priest Rev Fr Andrew DSouza and Canara Communication Centre Director Rev Fr Richard DSouza were present.  On the occasion, Daivik Amrith Media Director Rev Fr Andrew D’Souza was honoured.
