Mangalore, Aug 05, 2014:  Speaking on 67th section of the book on Heroor Bunts family,  Eminent writer Erya Lakshminarayana Alva released ‘A True Treasure of Reading Pleasure’ authored by Heroor Padmanabha Shetty, at TV Raman Pai Hall here, on Aug 3.  Alva said  life in a joint family improves  knowledge.

Nuclear families are the norm these days. Bunts should be united and maintain harmony.  Nitte University Chancellor Vinay Hegde and Dr Shantharam Shetty spoke. Heroor Padmanabha Shetty was felicitated as a part of the programme.

He has already written three major works namely, ‘Jawaharlal Nehru, an appreciation’, ‘Glimpses of Indian Culture and Civilization through the ages’ and ‘The tyre industry of India’.
