Mangalore June 8: CET counseling will be conducted in Mangalore on June 10 at Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management, Adyar from 8:30 a.m. More than 15,000 students who want to join medical and technical courses are expected to benefit from this counseling session. The students are from different parts of Dakshina Kannada, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, and neighboring districts such as Coorg and Chikmagalur. 

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has decentralized counseling for the convenience of parents and students, as a result of which two counseling centres were set up in Gulbarga and Hubli. The success of these centres led the KEA to establish counseling centres in Mangalore and Shimoga as well. 

Students can receive CET counseling at any of these centres even if they have mentioned Bangalore in their application forms. The KEA website contains information regarding fee structure of various courses. 

Four counseling sessions will be held per day—from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., 11.15 p.m. to 1 p.m., 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and 4:15 p.m. to 6 p.m. Students must register at 8 a.m. for the morning sessions.
