CODP organizes 2-day rights awareness programme

Mangalore, May 19: CODP organized “Rights-based Approach,” a 2-day awareness programme for its project coordinators and animators. The event was inaugurated by Director of CODP Fr. Onil D’Souza and Mr. Rajendra Prabhakar, a freelance social worker. Mr. Shankar was the resource person.

Speaking on the subject of human rights, Mr. Prabhakar explained the International Human Rights declaration, listed out various forms of violation of rights, and stressed the need to create human rights awareness among people. 

The event had 24 participants. At the end of the programme, Mr. Jacob proposed the vote of thanks.
