Mangalore, March 16: The veteran humorist and writer of satirical mini poems, Dundiraj inaugurated the state level cartoon exhibition on the topic ‘Ee Bhoomi Nammadu’ on March 15 at Prasad art gallery.
Speaking on the occasion he urged the people to hold protest against the governments plan to dole out land to mining owners and industrialists. He also briefed about art exhibition, which exposes two messages i.e there is required to take the issue of environment and rising temperature seriously, and the second about the fact that cartoons and caricatures should not be taken lightly.
Cartoonists and caricaturists Harini, Prakash Shetty, Kotiprasad Alva, director of Prasad Art Gallery were present on the occasion.
Nearly 20 cartoons, sketched by various artistes, were kept open for public viewing from 10 am to 7 pm till March 20.
