Udupi, Oct 7, 2014 : Delivering the key-note address on the topic ‘Leading effective schools: getting beyond the walls of resistance’ at the three-day international conference at Little Rock Indian School in Brahmavar Oct 6,  leading educationist from USA, Prof Michael Chirichello said that if the educational institutions did not change, their future would prove uncertain and it is high time  to adopt changes.

“Change is a challenge :  Change is a mirage if we focus only on the destination. But the process to reach that destination is a reality. Change is not going to take place immediately, it needds time,” he said. Prof Chirichello added that to transform change into reality, initiation, implementation and institutionalisation are indispensable.

As many as 229 delegates, mainly Principals and faculty from schools and colleges from across the states of Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, Kerala and Tamil Nadu are taking part in the conference, which is to conclude on Oct 8.
