Child dies after being hit by truck in Malpe

Malpe June 04, 2016: According to the police,  a one-year-and-four-month-old child was killed when it was hit by a mini truck at Malpe. 

Sharanavva was standing in front of the Paradise Isle Resort compound wall at Malpe with her one-year-and-four-month-old son Basavaraj at around 12.45 p.m., when the mini truck moving from Hoode to Malpe hit Basavaraj.

The severely injured child was rushed to the Government Hospital here, where doctors pronounced him dead. A case has been registered at the Malpe police station.
