Mangaluru, Oct 18, 2015 : The ’Nagara Swachhata Abhiyana - 2015’ will be organised at Buntara Yaane Nadavara Matru Sangha, at Bunts’ Hostel, on October 18. The programme is organised by Sri Ramakrishna College, along with Lions’ Club.

College principal Dr Naveen Shetty K told media that U T Khader, Minister for Health and Family Welfare, would be the chief guest, while Lions’ Club district governor Kavitha Shasthri would inaugurate the programme at 6.30 am.

The cleanliness drive will be carried out at Bunts Hostel, PVS Circle, Mallikatte, Gandhinagar, Mangaladevi and other places, from 7.30 am till 9 am. Around 200 NSS volunteers and Lions’ Club members would take part in the cleanliness drive and awareness campaign. Mayor Jacintha Vijaya Alfred, Sri Ramakrishna College Convener Krishna Prasad Rai will be present also.
