Computer engineer dies at NIT-K Beach

Suratkal, May 30: Two persons who had visited NIT-K Mallamar Beach at Suratkal on May 29, Saturday were carried away by the waves. The locals, however, managed to rescue one of them.

A group of 18 people employed at HP in Bangalore had visited Mulki to attend a wedding. Two of them visited the beach for a bath and were carried away by the waves.

Chithush, a computer engineer from KR Puram in Bangalore was rescued by the local people. Afzal Khan, another computer engineer from Bangalore, was in a serious condition when found and admitted at AJ Hospital. He died shortly after being admitted.
