Consumer exhibition on Karavali Exhibition Grounds till May 23

Mangalore, May 18: An air-conditioned consumer exhibition was launched recently at the Karavali Exhibition Grounds in Mangalore. The exhibition, which will be around till May 23, displays a wide range of products from antiques to food items. 

Traders from different parts of the country have set up 128 stalls, out of which 80 stalls belong to local traders. Grihashoba has displayed a wide range of products in one corner. One of the banners advertised a torch that will last for 500 hours. The seller, who hails from Delhi, said that the torches are made of LED (light emitted diode) bulbs, which consume little power. The battery is just ordinary. 

The consumer fair has something for everybody, including special products for kids and women. Some stalls offer on-the-spot demonstration of cosmetics.

The fair can be visited from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends.
