Corp Bank assures to strengthen security at ATM centres

Mangalore, Nov 21, 2013: In the wake of the recent  attack on  a lady bank manager  at a Corporation Bank ATM at Bangalore, the  Bank  has assured all measures for ATM security. It has also promised to further strengthen  security and take appropriate action in this direction.

In a  press communiqué, Swathi SM, General Manager of Bangalore Circle of Corporation Bank said that  the Bank has provided security measures of CCTV to all its ATMs.   The Bank is also optimistic that the CCTV footages of the ATM kiosk where the attack took place, which have been made available to the authorities, will help in tracing the culprit very soon.

Stating that the Bank  was fully co-operating with the investigation  authorities, she also said that the  Bank  has extended all support and medical attention to the victim who is an employee of the Bank. The Bank is constantly in touch with the victim, her family members, and also the doctors treating her, the release further stated.
