DC Ponnuraj leaves for USA to attend training programme

Manglore, May 13: A total of eight IAS officers from the state, including Dakshina kannada district deputy commissioner, V Ponnuraj and Udupi district counterpart P Hemalatha will participate in a training course in Management and public administration, scheduled to be held at USA from May 15 to June 5.

Both the deputy commissioners are expected to leave their respected district on May 13 for a three- week training course and report to the office after the completion of training on June 9. 

On their absence, additional deputy commissioner of Dakshina Kannada district Prabhakar Sharma and T Prabhakar, additional deputy commissioner of Udupi, will discharge the duties of deputy commissioner in Mangalore and Udupi respectively.
