Aug 08, 2014:  As a part of the Librarians day, St Agnes college in Mangalore in association with INFLIBNET (Information and Library Network) Centre, Gandhinagar will be organising a one-day State-level awareness programme on ‘INFLIBNET N-LIST E-Resources and Application of Statistics for Research’ on August 12 at St Agnes college.

Scientist at INFLIBNET, Manoj Kumar K will inaugurate the programme. Prof Siddaramu will be the chief guest and Dr M K Bhandi (Librarian, Mangalore University) will deliver the keynote address. College Principal Dr M Prem DSouza AC will preside over. During the programme, an inhouse journal, ‘Echo Research: A Multidisciplinary Journal’ will be released and the ‘Best Reader Award’ will be given to the students.

The project, ‘National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content (N-LIST),’ facilitates access to more than 97,000 ebooks and more than 6,000 e– journals on users desktop. NLIST project is being jointly executed by the UGC-INFONET digital library consortium, INFLIBNET centre and the INDEST-AICTE Consortium.  For details contact on 9448824505.
