Elderly lady dies in ’hit and run’ case

Mangaluru : As per reports, Girija Shetty (70), resident of Irvathurpadavu was walking by the side of a road on Jan 2, Saturday afternoon when a pickup van hit her; the driver sped away without stopping.

She was severely injured and was admitted to a hospital in Mangaluru, but breathed her last.

Punjalkatte police have registered a case.
