Engineers invent every facilities that benefit Mankind:Dr.Devadas Rai

Mangalore,Aug 16, 2012: The Campus Interview Training Solutions(CITS) jointly with Rotary Club of Mangalore Central as a part of their vocational service initiative conducted a training workshop on ’How to Face Campus Interviews? - HR Round’  for the benefit of final year meritorious engineering students of the colleges from Mangalore and Udupi district at Hotel Moti Mahal , here on August 15.

Dr Devdas Rai addressing the gathering said, "Engineers play a vital role in shaping our nation of a billion people. They are attributed with the responsibility to plan, build, develop and maintain every facility known to man". Legendary engineers of the past have managed to leave a mark in our minds with their unique creations and inventions, and have inspired the generations to follow their footsteps and create a legacy for themselves by thinking into the future and inventing facilities that could benefit humanity for years to come.

Dr. Sureshchandra Shetty speaking on the occasion said, "It is a known fact that the field of engineering is technical in nature and it needs more of precision and clarity in thinking.Inter- personal skills like communication with their interviewers, and colleagues, and most important team work go a long way in to marking a niche for ourselves to stand a fair chance of getting the desired job amongst the other competitors.”

Dist Governor of R I District 3180 Rtn Dr Devdas Rai inaugurated the training session. Vice-Chairman of Karnataka State Bar Council and Eminent Advocate P P Hegde graced the occasion. Ananth Prabhu and John Fernandes delivered the first and the second session respectively. Nikhil Pai compered the Programme.

More than 350 engineering students participated in the event.
