Export-quality handloom sale and exhibition on May 7

Mangalore, May 7: The Ladies Club is hosting an export surplus exhibition and sale on May 7 – 11 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. 

During a press conference, Harishchandra Weaving Mills and Cannanore Home Furnishing Products invited the citizens of Mangalore to visit the exhibition and purchase high-quality handloom items. 

Cannanore’s handloom industry, which has a rich history of 400 years, exports its products to Australia, Mexico, Europe, Brazil, and other countries. The industry has earned national recognition for the quality of its fabrics and its craftsmanship. Cannanore’s furnishing products are now visible in the White House, USA, and in Buckingham Palace, UK. 

The partners of Harishchandra Mills and President of North Malabar Chamber of Commerce Mahesh Chandra Baliga were present during the press conference.
