Father Muller Hospital at Thumbay inaugurated

Bantwal, June 3, 2013  :  Mangalore South MLA JR Lobo formally inaugurated  the Father Muller Hospital of Thumbay, formerly known as BA Hospital, Thumbay, on June 2, Sunday. The Hospital managed by the BA Group has been taken over by Fr Muller Charitable Institutions.

In his address,  JR Lobo  said the hospital in a rural area  would  provide the finest of healthcare services to the rural masses. He also launched Fr Muller Health Card and handed it over to the first beneficiary.

Msgr Denis Prabhu, Vicar General of Mangalore Diocese, unveiled the plaque, while Mangalore  Bishop Rev. Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza blessed the premises.

BA Mohiudeen, Founder and Chairman of BA Group, who was also present as a chief  guest, said  the hospital founded by his Group was like his own son and added he had given it in adoption to Fr Patrick. He also made a request to Fr Muller institution to retain the prayer hall built inside the hospital for the patients and visitors to offer their prayers.

State Minister for Forest and environment Ramanatha Rai, State Minister for Health and Family Welfare U T Khadar, who were present as chief guests, were felicitated by the Bishop. Ramanatha Rai honoured the BA Group Founder. Fr Patrick Rodrigues, Fr Richard Coelho, Administrator and several others were present.
