Mangalore, July 13, 2012: Four people died in 3 road accidents, which took place in Kasargod, Udupi, and DK. 

Two people died and nine were injured when a private bus and a jeep dashed into each other on NH75 at Perne in Puttur on July 12, Thursday. The deceased are Kamala (60) and Jagannath (48), the driver of the jeep. The family was returning to Ananthady after attending a wedding in Uppinangady.

In another accident, Nagaraj (28) fell off his bike while trying to avoid a dog at Havanje in Udupi and died in Hospital. Nagaraj was on his way to Udupi when this happened. 

In the third accident, a truck dashed into a motorbike, killing its rider on the spot. The truck was on its way to Kasargod when it dashed into the bike on NH17. The driver of the truck tried to escape, but the local people stopped him.
