Fraud recruitment agencies raided by city police

Mangaluru, Sep 30, 2019: City  Police personnel from Mangaluru North, South and East police stations have carried out raids on seven agencies engaged in fraudulent recruitment of individuals for employment in foreign countries.

These agencies were operating without having requisite permission and licence from Ministry of External Affairs, said city Commissioner of Police Dr P S Harsha.

A group of people, who were allegedly cheated by some of these agencies, had submitted a plea to the commissioner recently.

FIRs have been registered against these agencies.
